The life of the land is

perpetuated in righteousness.
And so it can be

Welcome to the d/Deaf Sensitivity Training Class Seminar. You've found a place that will address how we treat people who

are d/Deaf & Hard of hearing (DHH). Most of us have no idea how they feel. Do we just act "normal?" What is normal?

Is a person who is d/Deaf or hard of hearing "normal?" Definitely so! These is a real-to-life deaf sensitivity training seminar.

This 4-hour class will enhance the life of every participant.

The class is targeted to law enforcement & other public safety agencies including airports, TSA, hospitals, and retail such as banking, malls, & government offices, etc.  Participants will learn how to better interact with the community in which they serve better through understanding. We'll learn of the existence of a true Deaf Culture and what it is all about and how it helps those who are DHH to function at their peak with your understanding. For government, our training class greatly enhances the protection of those in your care with a lasting, positive lifetime change.
We'll learn about what Audism is. And no, this is not a typo.
Now you can schedule a class with multiple sessions on one or more days, on-site at your location.

We know one question will probably be about what you thought was a typographical error written above as d/Deaf. That will be explained in the seminar, or call us. We'll be glad to tell you.

Remember: Blindness separates people from things. Deafness separates people from people.

The title of our seminar comes up in class unknowingly and seemingly automatic. The class is presented in such a way that participants may experience what a deaf or HoH person feels inside as best as possible. Not only are there obvious language and communication issues present, there is the culture of a very unique Deaf Community to be addressed. Within moments after the start of the program, participants will experience a taste of being deaf or hard of hearing. Shortly after the start of the seminar, everyone begins to understand how to interact with people who are DHH, and I don't mean pulling out a pen and a piece of paper on which to write things down. It's not all in the communication, it's understanding as mentioned earlier. Public Safety Forces will be better trained to assist when called upon once completing the class. The world will be much better as everyone learns how to address the sensitive points of every day life in a world of silence. Those that hear are usually called "hearing." If you can hear, I will probably be right in the assumption that you never thought of yourself as a hearing person, but just as a person. The same concept applies to one who is Deaf or Hard of Hearing. It is with pleasure to be able to offer this vital program right to your door.

Some people born deaf while others were late deafened. Each population has its specific needs and we'll learn about each one. These are innocent individuals, who through no fault of their own, have been deprived of the privilege of learning through hearing, and socializing due to the same physical loss. Nonetheless, each person has much to offer the world that he or she lives in if only given an open door to show themselves and their talents. This seminar will enhance your ability to see beyond the silence and view the world from the perception of a person who is deaf or hard of hearing. We'll go into emergency situations where participants are called into action in both reactive and proactive modes.

The best is saved for last: the title of this seminar:

The Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) population isn't easy to identify. It is truly a silent world that those who lack auditory and linguistic acuity live in every day. They are people just like you and me. Their ears just do not work. That's all. Some people have partial hearing. You'll learn about the proper ways to communicate and help through understanding the emotional issues that hearing people never think about. It's very important. Before we launched the seminar, a great number of people have said that they never gave that a thought. Hence, the title of the class became apparent. I NEVER HAVE THAT A THOUGHT!
